A strict disciplinarian, a quick decision maker and a great humanitarian, Mr. G.R. SHUKLA was the first to sow the seeds of Pragnya Bodhini High School. We, the clan of Pragnya Bodhini High School ,abide to fulfill the aspirations and ideals of our dear Shukla Sir, who continued to guide up till 16th feb 2007 before he left for her journey in the here after. His ideals and values will always be our guiding light.
He recognised the needs of the changing times and hence the school that had initially started with only a Gujrati medium opened up its first English medium division under the able guidance of Mrs. Ruth Rose, in the year 1974. Today we boast of 980 students on the rolls, also catering to the lower – middle class and middle class children. Though the medium of instruction is English, the school has always honoured and followed the Indian tradition and heritage and functioned within the parameters of the Indian Culture.
